Volunteers make one last push for recall signatures

MILWAUKEE -- The deadline is fast approaching for volunteers circulating petitions to recall Governor Walker. Saturday was the beginning of the final push for signatures. A little more than 540,000 signatures are due to the Democratic Party on Friday the 13th.

Former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk stopped by Voces De La Frontera in Milwaukee to energize recall volunteers. In many ways, her visit felt a lot like a campaign stop.

Falk says, "I'll seriously consider it.  People are urging me to run, but one step at a time here.  And that's getting these signatures which we'll hand in in a week."

Voces De La Frontera organized Saturday's canvassing, which focused largely on Milwaukee's Latino community.
