VIDEO: Man shot during robbery at Chicago Sub near 27th & Burleigh



MILWAUKEE -- Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Thursday morning, April 12th in Milwaukee.

According to the Milwaukee Police Department a 27-year-old man was shot at approximately 2:00 a.m.near 27th and Burleigh Street. Police say a black man came into the Chicago Sub store, showed a gun and robbed some customers. As he was leaving, the man shot the 27-year-old man in the leg.



The victim was transported to the hospital. The man's injuries are described as non-life threatening.

Police are looking for the suspect responsible, and ask anyone with information to call (414) 935-7360.

Just six days ago, the same location was the scene of another shooting investigation. In that case, a 31-year-old man was shot twice in one leg and once in his foot. Officials say the victim was shot outside a gas station in the 3000 block of 27th Street. The 31-year-old victim was expected to recover.
