Video: Kohl’s features same-sex couple in new holiday commercial

People are taking notice of a new holiday commercial for Kohl’s -- which features a same-sex couple.

The commercial, titled “Celebrate Togetherness,” was posted to YouTube on Monday, November 16th. It shows a family gathering and preparing for its Thanksgiving feast. Towards the end, the family holds a toast for a gay couple.

“The best part of the holidays? Being together with family and friends of course!” The description of the video says.

According to Advertising Age, the commercial is part of a series showing the interracial, multi-generational family.

The video was met with praise on social media.

“This is what families look like today. Embrace it,” one person wrote on the YouTube video.
