Two wounded after shots were fired into Milwaukee restaurant

MILWAUKEE --- Police are investigating after a suspect fired several gunshots into a restaurant near 35th and Fond du Lac Avenue early Sunday, June 19th.

Police were called to the neighborhood just before 2:00 a.m.

Investigators say the suspect became upset and started firing shots into the restaurant. A 23-year-old woman and 28-year-old man were both shot during the incident and suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Both victims were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Milwaukee police continue to search for a suspect and a motive for this shooting.
