Two-vehicle accident in Oak Creek, SUV strikes home

OAK CREEK (WITI) -- An accident involving two vehicles in Oak Creek ends with one of them striking a home.

A lieutenant at Oak Creek Police say the accident involved an SUV traveling southbound on S. Chicago Road and a 4-door car traveling westbound on Elm Road in Oak Creek.

The SUV struck a nearby house close to the intersection of S. Chicago Road and Elm Road. However, there was no structural damage to the home and the residents were not forced out of the home.

Two people riding in the SUV were transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

There is no confirmation on what caused the crash, or who is at fault.

The crash is still under investigation.
