Two people in one vehicle arrested for driving drunk, and it's man's fourth offense!

MADISON (AP) — Dane County Sheriff's deputies arrested two people in one vehicle for driving while intoxicated.

A deputy spotted a vehicle driving erratically on Highway 30 in Madison about 2 a.m. Thursday, September 25th. Authorities say the 47-year-old driver from Sun Prairie traded seats with his passenger, a 47-year-old Waunakee woman, while the vehicle was moving.

When the deputy pulled the vehicle over, the woman was behind the wheel. Both were arrested and booked into the Dane County Jail. Sheriff's officials say it's the fourth drunken driving arrest for the man.

Authorities say the woman gave the deputy a false name and could face an obstruction charge.
