Two MPD officers injured after squad involved in crash

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police say two police officers were injured when their squad was involved in a crash near 38th and Roosevelt on Monday evening, November 25th.

The crash occurred just before 6:00 p.m.

Police say the officers were responding to a foot pursuit, and the squad car struck a tree.

Police say the officers were taken to Froedtert Hospital after suffering non life-threatening injuries in the crash.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
