Two men shot, wounded near 1st & Meinecke; suspects sought

MILWAUKEE -- Two men were shot and wounded near 1st and Meinecke in Milwaukee  late on Saturday, May 21st.

Police were dispatched to the scene just after 9:00 p .m. Officials say the two men, both 20 years old, were standing next to a vehicle in the street when they were approached by unknown people who fired shots at them.

Both victims suffered non-life threatening injuries and are being treated at a hospital.

MPD's investigation into possible movies and suspects is ongoing.
