Two men shot, wounded in separate shooting incidents in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating two separate non-fatal shootings that happened on Saturday evening, September 3rd.

The first shooting happened near 42nd and Sheridan around 7:00 p.m. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a 26-year-old man suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound.

The victim told police he was driving in the neighborhood when an unknown suspect pulled up beside him and fired several gunshots into his car. The victim was treated by the Milwaukee Fire Department and taken to a hospital.

At about 9:40 p.m., a 27-year-old man arrived at a hospital suffering from a gunshot wound. Investigators determined the shooting occurred near 27th and Burleigh. The victim stated two people were fighting when someone pulled out a gun and began shooting. The victim was struck by the gunfire. He is expected to survive his injuries.

Milwaukee police are seeking suspects in both cases.
