Trump-Clinton debate exceeds Green Bay Packers-like TV ratings in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- The first presidential debate on Monday, September 26th didn't draw a Super Bowl level TV audience in the Milwaukee metro area, but it did outperform a Green Bay Packers Monday Night Football broadcast.

The combined rating for the Milwaukee area's four broadcast stations and five cable networks was an estimated average of 420,000 households.

That's about 47 percent of households in metro Milwaukee -- compared to 36-and-a-half percent for the Packers/Chiefs Monday night game in September 2015.
