Truck, trailer left in wrong spot leads to investigation

KENOSHA (WITI) -- The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department responded Thursday, May 23rd to the Kenosha Regional Airport for a possible hazardous materials incident.

A Kenosha Sheriff's sergeant says law enforcement personnel were concentrating on an abandoned vehicle that may have had something questionable inside.

As it turned out, a pilot went up into his plane, and left his truck and trailer in an area where it was not supposed to be.

A FOX6 crew at the scene says just as law enforcement officials were about to start getting into the vehicle, the pilot landed at the airport and was able to resolve the situation.

No one was injured.

An official told FOX6 News no charges are expected in this case.
