TRAFFIC ALERT: Full closures of I-94 planned for Thursday and Friday night

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Wisconsin DOT is advising motorists of a FULL FREEWAY CLOSURE planned for I-94 Thursday night and Friday night (April 24th and 25th).

Thursday night's full closure will occur from 11:00 p.m. through 4:30 a.m.

Friday night's full closure will occur from 11:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

I-94 east/west will be closed as crews begin the installation of bridge girders at Highway 100.

I-94 west will close at the Zoo Interchange. I-94 east will close at Moorland Road.

Highway 100 northbound will be closed between Theodore Trecker Way and Bluemound Road.

Motorists are advised to use Bluemound Road or Greenfield Avenue to head east or west. Theodore Trecker Way to 121st Street to Bluemound Road can be used to access Highway 100.

All of these closures are dependent upon the weather.
