Three people, including suspect taken to the hospital following stabbing incident in Waukesha

WAUKESHA (WITI) -- Waukesha police say three people, including the suspect were injured in a stabbing incident that occurred on Wednesday afternoon, February 11th.

It happened in the 100 block of South Street shortly before 4:00 p.m.

Police say three adult acquaintances were engaged in an altercation that resulted in an adult female stabbing and cutting two victims -- an adult male and an adult female.

Those injured sustained non life-threatening injuries.

We're told the suspect in this incident has been taken into custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
