Three hurt in two separate shooting incidents in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a couple of non-fatal shootings that happened Saturday evening, December 13th.

The first happened near Sherman and Burleigh just before 6:30 p.m. Police say an 18-year-old Milwaukee man showed up at a hospital for treatment of a non-life threatening gunshot wound. There is no further information at this time and the investigation is ongoing.

Officers are also checking out a shooting that happened near 17th and Meinecke just after 7:30 p.m. A 58-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 33-year-old Milwaukee man each suffered non-life threatening gunshot wounds during a robbery incident.

The suspects fled the scene on foot and the investigation into this incident continues.
