Thousands line up at Miller Park for We Energies Cookie Book

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Thousands of people waited in line at Miller Park Saturday morning, November 9th, to get their hands on a copy of the annual We Energies Cookie Book.

Masses have gathered for over 80 years to collect the free Cookie Book with dozens of holiday cookie recipes.

"I think it's just the camaraderie of Wisconsin, and We Energies produces an awesome book," said Hillary Taylor.

Santa's reindeer joined the crowds who waited in the cold for their coveted book and complimentary cookies and cocoa.

The Cookie Book giveaway lasts just four hours. In 2012, an estimated 17,000 books were distributed.
