SUV rollover crash sends 1 to hospital; police search for second vehicle involved

KENOSHA (WITI) -- Kenosha Police responded to a rollover crash that happened in the 2600 blocks of Alfred Park Drive in Kenosha, near the Carthage College campus at approximately 5:26 p.m.

An SUV and a second, unknown vehicle were traveling in the same direction when the vehicles contacted each other -- causing the SUV to roll over. The unidentified vehicle involved in the accident left the scene after the SUV rolled over.

There were 6 men inside the SUV. Five of them adults, and the driver was a teenager. The driver was the only person who was significantly injured in the crash. He was taken by ambulance to Kenosha Memorial Hospital before being transported by Flight for Life to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee.

The medical condition of the driver is unknown, but FOX6 News is told the officer that responded to the crash had talked to the driver, and said the teen sounded like he was doing better.

Officers are trying to figure out why the SUV and the other vehicle struck each other to cause the crash.
