Suspicious package discovered at St. Catherine's Hospital

KENOSHA (WITI) -- Kenosha police say a suspicious package was reported at St. Catherine's Hospital in Pleasant Prairie on Thursday afternoon, March 27th.

An all-clear was given around 3:20 p.m.

The package was found to include sharps materials which were apparently disposed of improperly.

United Hospital Systems released a statement to FOX6 News, in which they say: "We initiated our internal processes to address the situation, which included contacting the local agencies, including the Pleasant Prairie Police Department, Pleasant Prairie Fire and Rescue Department, and the Kenosha County Sheriff's Department's Bomb Squad.
