Suspect in custody after phoning bomb threat to FOX6

BROWN DEER (WITI) -- Brown Deer police arrested a suspect who allegedly made a bomb threat to the FOX6 newsroom.

The call came into the newsroom shortly before 7 a.m. The male caller told the assignment editor that there was a bomb in the building.

The Brown Deer Police Department and the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office responded. Two bomb-sniffing dogs assisted in searching the station.

The station was cleared just before 11 a.m.
