Suspect arrested in connection with homicide in downtown Racine

RACINE (WITI) -- FOX6 News has learned a suspect has been arrested in connection with a weekend homicide in which a 21-year-old man lost his life. The victim has been identified as Dulonden Ratliff of Kenosha.

Racine police say a man was taken into custody at his place of employment just before 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 31st on a charge of first degree reckless homicide and two counts of first degree recklessly endangering safety.

Meanwhile, we have learned a vigil has been planned in Ratliff's honor.

The vigil is set for 6:00 p.m. Thursday, April 3rd in the 300 block of Main Street.

Ratliff was shot in the 300 block of Main Street in downtown Racine around 1:15 a.m. on Saturday, March 29th.

Ratliff was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Racine police say the investigation continues.
