Student could face charges after striking Bradley Tech teacher

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A 16-year-old student of Bradley Tech High School could face a charge of battery to a school official after an incident that happened at the school on Monday, April 22nd.

Police tell FOX6 News officers were called to the school shortly after 2 p.m. on Monday. When they arrived, they learned a 40-year-old teacher at the school had allegedly been assaulted by a 16-year-old Milwaukee boy. The teen was arrested.

Officials say the teen had been arguing with a female student. When the teacher tried to address the situation, the student apparently got mad, pushed the teacher in the face and then struck the teacher.

Police are recommending charges to the district attorney's office.
