Storms Tuesday evening prompt Severe Thunderstorm Warning, lead to damage in some areas
SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN (WITI) -- Storms that rolled through on Tuesday evening, July 29th triggered a Severe Thunderstorm Warning and left 2,000 people without power. The storms also led to damage in some areas.
FOX6's Vince Condella reported tree damage on the west side of Waukesha -- and also trees down in Salem in Kenosha County.
The Severe Thunderstorm Warning was in effect for Racine, Kenosha and Waukesha counties until 9:15pm Tuesday.
FOX6 took calls from some folks in the Brookfield/Waukesha areas reporting storm damage on Tuesday evening as well -- including a report of a tree down on a house on Green Meadows Drive in Waukesha.
