Standing for the Fallen: Milwaukee Fire Department plans 9/11 memorial events

MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Fire Department has several events planned as a tribute to the fallen from 9/11. All will take place on Sunday, September 11th from 9:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. -- the 15th anniversary of the terror attack.

Here's a breakdown of the schedule for that date:

"Law enforcement, whether you're in the fire service, whether you're an EMT or a paramedic, whether you're in the military, it is recognized, most definitely by the fire service. Looking outward, it is recognized that you put yourself in harm's way so that others might live and we recognize that," MFD Deputy Chief Aaron Lipski said.
