South Milwaukee police seek suspect who hit Walgreens employee with gun during robbery
SOUTH MILWAUKEE -- South Milwaukee police are looking for the suspect responsible for an armed robbery in which a Walgreens employee was struck in the head with a gun.
It happened at the Walgreens store in the 2900 block of S. Chicago Avenue in South Milwaukee on Wednesday, May 27th, shortly before 1:00 p.m.
Police say a black male displaying a handgun was able to obtain prescription medication from the pharmacy.
An employee was struck in the head by the suspect with the gun.
The suspect then fled the store -- running in a northwest direction.
