A Delta Air Lines spokesperson also confirmed the incident to FOX Local, confirming that law enforcement responded upon the flight's arrival at JFK, and there was no operational impact to the flight as the flight landed ahead of schedule at the airport.

"Delta has zero tolerance for unruly or unlawful behavior, as the safety of our customers and crew always comes first," the spokesperson said in a statement.

According to a report by TMZ, Blair allegedly became physically aggressive during the flight, punching one flight attendant and biting another. Dispatch audio obtained by TMZ captured officials requesting medical personnel at the gate following reports of minor injuries, including a bloody nose and bite marks.

"It sounds like the disruptive passenger also bashed her head on the bulkhead or something like that," the pilot told the tower, according to the Associated Press, citing audio posted on the ATC app. "So we’ll obviously have to get her potentially checked out as well as involved with law enforcement."

The outlet also reported that she attempted to open the aircraft’s door while the plane was in the air. However, Delta was unable to corroborate that detail as accurate.

The FBI is investigating the incident, according to both Delta and the Port Authority Police Department. Authorities have not publicly detailed the circumstances leading up to the reported altercation.

What they're saying:

A representative for Blair told TMZ that the actress experienced a "medical emergency" that led to the alleged conduct. According to the representative, Blair received immediate medical attention after landing and was in stable condition. It remains unclear what caused the reported medical emergency.

Charged with attacking officer, nurse

Blair appeared in a Queens courtroom on Monday in connection with allegations that she attacked a police officer while en route to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and assaulted a nurse following her arrival.

Charging documents allege that while Blair was being secured to a stretcher, the actress pulled a leg from the straps and kicked the officer around the face, neck, and chest. The officer reported the attack caused serious pain and substantial swelling. Additionally, Blair is accused of kicking the nurse in the chest, also causing substantial pain.

She was charged with two counts of second-degree assault and a judge set her bail at $20,000 cash or a $60,000 bond. She is due to return to court in January.

Potential federal charges

Law enforcement sources also told TMZ that the FBI issued Blair a federal summons, which is called a violation notice. The outlet was told that the summons charges her federally with "assault within the special maritime and territorial jurisdiction of the United States."
