Salvation Army making final call for your donations! Red Kettle Campaign ends January 31st!

WAUWATOSA (WITI) -- There’s still time to contribute to The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Christmas Campaign.

This year’s Campaign goal of $3.8 million is critical to meeting the needs of families, children, those who are unemployed, underemployed and homeless, all people we serve.

Donations received to date total $3.5 million.

Eighty four cents of every dollar donated is used to sustain 80 distinct year round programs and services including

The Salvation Army Emergency Lodge, food and clothing, disaster relief, utility and rent assistance, employment services and summer lunch programs for children.

The Red Kettle Christmas Campaign will close on Saturday, January 31st.
