Sahan pleads not guilty to multiple felony charges

WAUKESHA CO. -- 18-year-old Ihor Sahan of St. Francis pleaded not guilty in Waukesha County on Wednesday, November 28th to multiple felony charges including homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle.

Investigators say Ihor Sahan was driving drunk when he slammed into a Waukesha County Sheriff’s squad car on I-94 near Sunnyslope Rd. on Thursday, November 1st.

Two deputies, Bryan Skaar and Patrick Sykes jumped into action to pull Sahan and his passenger, 17-year-old Ryan Petri from their vehicle. Petri later died from his injuries.

Sahan is due back in court for a hearing on Friday, January 25th.
