RESCUED: Crews free man trapped in hole 30 feet underground in Waukesha County
WAUKESHA COUNTY (WITI) -- Fire crews from Waukesha, Pewaukee and Lisbon were called to rescue a man from a hole 30 feet underground.
It happened at Weyer and Duplainville Road in Waukesha County.
Authorities say while working to clear a hole underneath the road, a man became stuck in equipment.
It took crews 30 minutes to free him.
Crews dropped a basket to bring him out from the hole. He was taken to the hospital, and it appears he's going to be okay.
