Red Cross assists 5 adults after fire near Vel R. Phillips Avenue and Locust Street

MILWAUKEE -- Five people were being assisted by the American Red Cross after a fire in Milwaukee Sunday evening, Aug. 4.

It happened on the second floor of a home near Vel R. Phillips Avenue and Locust Street around 5 p.m.

No one was hurt.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
