Recycling real Christmas trees: Drop-off locations

MILWAUKEE -- Now that Christmas is over, many may be looking to get rid of Christmas trees. Real Christmas trees can be recycled and turned into mulch or compost.

There are two drop-off locations:

Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The centers are closed on Sunday and Monday.

In the city of Milwaukee, trees can also be left at the curb with trash.
