Randal Hopper cited for OWI, disorderly conduct

FOND DU LAC CO. -- Former State Senator Randy Hopper was arrested late on Sunday, October 21st for multiple offenses including driving drunk and disorderly conduct.

Fond du lac County deputies were called to deal with a domestic-related incident in the Township of Fond du Lac around 10:15 p.m.

46-year-old Hopper was cited for operating while intoxicated (1st offense). He was taken into custody for disorderly conduct - domestic abuse, criminal trespassing and unlawful use of a telephone.

Hopper was released from the Fond du lac County Jail on Monday, October 22nd after posting a $500 cash bond.

The Fond du lac County District Attorney is now reviewing the case.

Earlier this year, Hopper was cleared of all charges related to a drunk driving arrest.
