Portion of warehouse collapses near 76th and Brown Deer Road

BROWN DEER (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Fire Department responded to the partial collapse of a warehouse on Monday evening, February 17th.

It happened in the 8800 block of N. 76th Street (76th and Brown Deer Road).

The fire department was notified of the collapse just after 6:00 p.m. Monday.

Multiple fire department crews were on the scene, and officials say at this time, it does not appear that anyone was injured or trapped.

Fire officials eventually left the building in the hands of police - who were waiting on the building inspector to arrive.

There is no word on a cause for the collapse at this time.
