Port Washington Man charged with child porn, child sex assault

PORT WASHINGTON -- The Port Washington Police Department is investigating the possible sexual assault of a five-year-old girl.

Police say the girl resides in Green Bay with her mother, and had been visiting Port Washington. The girl was taken to St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.

Police executed a search warrant on 35-year-old James Esselman's home, and Esselman was arrested on multiple counts of child sexual assault, and possession of child pornography.

The case against Esselman was referred to the Ozaukee County District Attorney's Office, and the DA charged Esselman with two counts of first-degree child sexual assault, and five counts of possession of child pornography.
