Police: Teenage boy shot, wounded near 46th & Fairmount in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened near 46th and Fairmount on the city's north side on Wednesday afternoon, August 17th.

Officials say the victim, a 16-year-old Milwaukee boy, was shot just before 1:00 p.m. during circumstances that still remain under investigation.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Officials say they are seeking a motive and suspects in this case.
