Police seeking suspect in robbery of Educators Credit Union



MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are attempting to identify the suspect responsible for the May 7th armed robbery at the Educators Credit Union located at 7025 W. Appleton Avenue.

The robbery happened at about 5:45 p.m. when police say the suspect sent a threatening note to the teller via the drive thru.  The suspect received money and fled in a stolen car that police have recovered.  A co-actor in another stolen car was arrested a short time later in the area of 56th and Melvina.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20 to 25 years of age, 5’ 5” to 6’ 00”, light completion, last seen wearing black baseball cap with, "Milwaukee" in red letters, a black hooded sweatshirt, and black pants.
