Police seeking suspect in BMO Harris robbery in Brookfield

BROOKFIELD (WITI) -- Brookfield police are seeking the suspect responsible for the robbery of the BMO Harris Bank on W. Capitol Drive on Thursday, February 13th.

It happened just after 11:00 a.m.



Police say the suspect approached a teller and demanded cash -- and produced a handgun during the robbery.

Police say the man obtained cash and fled in an unknown direction.

No one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black man between 45-55 years of age, 5'7" to 5'9" tall, with an average build. He has longer dark hair past his shoulders (possibly a wig) and he was wearing a black and white checkered scarf over his face, dark sunglasses, a dark winter jacket and a large light-colored sun-type hat with gray pants, black shoes and dark gloves.
