Police seek suspect in Williams Bay bank robbery

WILLIAMS BAY (WITI) -- Williams Bay police are searching for a male suspect in connection with a robbery that occurred at Walworth State Bank in the Village of Williams Way on Friday, November 15th.

According to officials, the suspect entered the bank around 10:00 a.m., displayed a handgun and directed the teller to put money into a bag that he brought with him.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect fled the scene on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male that's  6” to 6’3” tall and approximately 240 lbs. He is believed to be in his early 20’s.

The Williams Bay Police Department is being assisted by the Walworth County Sheriffs Department, Town of Delavan Police Department, Village of Fontana Police Department, Geneva Township Police Department, and Wisconsin State Patrol.
