Police seek suspect in armed robbery of Garden Wine & Spirits

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are seeking the suspect responsible for the armed robbery that occurred at Garden Wine and Spirits located at 1010 W. Layton Ave. on June 6th.

According to police, the suspect pointed a handgun at a clerk and ordered him to the ground before taking money from the register and bottles of vodka from a shelf behind the counter.

The suspect also took money from an office before fleeing the store though a rear door.

The suspect is described as a black male in his mid-30's, 5'6" tall, 160 lbs., dark complexion, wearing a dark hat, a fake mustache and beard, black gloves, a dark jacket and blue jeans, and having a teardrop tattoo on his face.
