Police search for suspect who robbed credit union
WEST MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- West Milwaukee police are looking for your help in their search for a suspect who robbed the Landmark Credit Union near 45th and National Ave. on Wednesday, November 13th.
Officials say the suspect entered the bank shortly after 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. He approached the teller with a package, demanded money from the teller, exited the bank and left the package.
The suspect has been described as a male, African-American male, approximately 50 years old with a salt and pepper colored beard.
The bank was evacuated due to the suspicious nature of the package. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Bomb Squad was requested and later deemed the package was not dangerous.
