Police: No injuries reported after shots fired incident near Marquette University

MILWAUKEE -- Marquette University police and Milwaukee police are investigating a shots fired incident that occurred near campus early Thursday morning, November 17th.

Marquette police say they heard shots fired in an alley near 15th and State around 5:30 a.m.

When police arrived on scene, they found one male victim who stated a subject fired shots from a handgun at him. The victim was not injured and fled the scene.

A handgun and other evidence were recovered.

Officials say the victim is not affiliated with Marquette University.
