Police need your help to ID man who robbed Family Dollar store

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are asking for the public's help identify an armed robbery suspect who is accused of robbing a Family Dollar store near 91st and Appleton on Christmas Eve.

Officials say the suspect entered the store with a black handgun just after 9:30 a.m., robbed the business of cash, and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a male, black, between 30-40 years-old, 5'10"-6' tall, 180-200 pounds, with a dark complexion and wearing make-up and lipstick. He was wearing black sunglasses/reading glasses, a dark waist-length jacket, dark pants, and a gray hat over a long curly wig. Upon further review of the video, it appears that a black male wearing an orange baseball cap entered the store about a minute prior to the suspect and acted as the lookout.

Anyone with information is asked to call Milwaukee Police at 414-935-7360.
