Police: Man, woman hurt in shooting near 25th and Monroe

MILWAUKEE -- A man and woman were hurt in a shooting near 25th Street and Monroe Street Sunday afternoon, April 26.

It happened just before 1 p.m.

Police said the 28-year-old woman and 26-year-old man suffered injuries not believed to be life-threatening. They were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, investigators are working to determine what led to the shooting, and seeking the shooter(s).
