Police: Man shot, wounded during fight between family near 5th & Virginia

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a shooting that happened near 5th and Virginia  on Wednesday evening, October 26th -- the result of a fight between family members.

It happened around 6:20 p.m.

Police say a 34-year-old man was shot and wounded -- and taken to the hospital for treatment.

A suspect has been identified, and that person was being sought by MPD.

The investigation is ongoing.
