Police: Man in custody after he barricaded himself inside home in Kenosha

KENOSHA -- A man was taken into custody after police said he barricaded himself inside a home on 30th Avenue near 41st Street in Kenosha Saturday, Sept. 21.

This all began around 11:45 a.m., when a 911 hangup call came in.

Police said the man barricaded himself inside the home with two other adults. He was armed with a crowbar, and threatened officers, police said.

The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department's Tactical Response Team was also called to the scene.

Eventually, the two adults were released from the home, and after a lengthy standoff, the man was arrested without incident.

Police said he was being held on an outstanding warrant.

No one was hurt during this incident.
