Police looking for vehicle involved in fatal hit-and-run

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are seeking the vehicle involved in a fatal hit and run crash.

Police say the crash occurred Saturday, May 26th in the 1700 block of S. 16th Street and killed Gilbert Vazquez.

Police say a suspect is in custody and is awaiting charges. Police have not located the striking vehicle.

Police are looking for a 1992 Honda Accord 4-door, gold, Wisconsin plate number 703-RYW.

The vehicle should have damage to the front and right fender and may have a damaged windshield.

Police believe the vehicle is likely parked somewhere on the south side.
