Police investigating bank robbery at Chase Bank downtown
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a robbery that occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the Chase Bank located at 111 E. Wisconsin Avenue.
Police say the suspect approached a teller and handed her a note demanding money.
The suspect was able to obtain money -- and fled the bank in an unknown direction.
Police describe the suspect as a black male, between the ages of 25 and 30, 5'8" tall, weighing 180 pounds, with one to two days growth of beard -- wearing a gray shirt, blue jeans and black Army boots.
