Police investigate robbery, report of shots fired near 25th & Lisbon
MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police on Wednesday, January 1st, 2014 were on the scene of a robbery that occurred at a corner store near 25th and Lisbon.
Police say the incident occurred just before noon on New Year's Day.
Police say the suspect pulled out a gun and demanded money from the store clerk, who was positioned behind a thick plate of glass. That clerk refused to hand over anything.
Eventually, police say the suspect left the store, but fired two shots into the store from the street before fleeing the area.
No one was hit by the two shots that were fired.
The suspect is described as an African-American man in his mid-20s, approximately six feet tall with a muscular build.
The man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, black pants.
