Police investigate homicide: Man shot outside home near 19th & Fairmount

MILWAUKEE --Milwaukee police are investigating a homicide that happened around 12:30 a.m. on September 28th near 19th Street and Fairmount Avenue.

Police say the victim, a 27-year-old Milwaukee man, identified as Anton Gillon, was shot outside of a residence during circumstances that remain under investigation at this time.

MPD continues to search for suspect(s) and seek a motive.

Officials say this is the 97th homicide of 2016.
