Police investigate fatal shooting near Capitol & Appleton

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating a homicide that happened near Capitol and Appleton around 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31st.

A 36-year-old Milwaukee man was found in the street suffering from gunshot wounds. He was conveyed to a local hospital where he died.

There are no suspects in custody and investigators are trying to determine a motive in this case.
