Police investigate double-shooting near Fratney & Center

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a double-shooting that occurred early Monday morning, September 3rd near Fratney and Center.

Police say two men in their early 20s sustained gunshot wounds during the incident.

One man was shot in the thigh and cheek. Police say the bullet went through the victim's cheek and came out his neck. There is no word on the man's condition.

The second victim sustained a gunshot wound to the head. Authorities say he is not expected to survive.

No other details have been released at this time -- including a motive or whether any suspects have been taken into custody.
