MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating the death of a child near 34th and Wisconsin.

According to officials, police were called to the scene around 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, January 1st.

No additional details have been released at this time -- including the age of the child or the cause of death.
